Booking and pricing
Three ways. Submit the quote-request form on any page of the site, email info@marinstarlimo.com, or call 415-406-9911. The form and email get a response within thirty minutes during operating hours. The phone is fastest, usually answered by one of our chauffeurs or the dispatcher.
For SFO transfers, 24 hours is comfortable. For wine country day tours, two weeks during peak season (June through October) and a few days outside of that. For weddings and large events, four to six weeks. Last-minute requests we will fit when we can, but our calendar fills out 5 to 14 days ahead in busy periods.
Flat-rate sedan trips from Marin to SFO start at $145. Hourly chauffeur service starts at $95 per hour for the sedan, $125 per hour for the SUV, $185 per hour for the Sprinter, $175 to $295 per hour for the stretch limousines, and $295 to $365 per hour for the 38-passenger coach. Wine country day tours run $895 to $1,895 for a 9-hour day depending on vehicle.
Vehicle, chauffeur, fuel, tolls, parking, bottled water, and real-time flight tracking on airport trips. The first 60 minutes of waiting time after flight wheels-down or scheduled pickup are included. A 20 percent driver gratuity is added as a separate, adjustable line on the quote.
No. The price you are quoted is the price you pay. We do not charge surge pricing, fuel surcharges, or after-hours surcharges. The only number that can change after the quote is the wait time if you are very delayed, and we tell you the per-hour wait rate up front.
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. ACH bank transfer for corporate accounts. We charge the card on file the morning of the trip. For trips $1,000-$2,500, we require a 25 percent deposit at booking. For trips above $2,500, a 50 percent deposit.
For trips under $500: full refund up to 24 hours before pickup, 50 percent refund within 24 hours, no refund within 4 hours. Trips $500-$2,500: deposit refundable up to 7 days before, balance refundable up to 24 hours before. Weddings and multi-day bookings have separate terms detailed in the contract.
A 20 percent driver gratuity is automatically added to the quote and shown as a separate, adjustable line. You can change the percentage up or down at any time before or after the trip. We do not pressure on tips; the chauffeur is paid the same regardless.

Yes. All chauffeurs hold California-issued commercial driving credentials with passenger endorsements. The company is licensed under the California Public Utilities Commission TCP (Transportation Charter Party) permit. The fleet carries commercial auto liability insurance at the state-required levels. Every driver's DMV record is reviewed every six months.
All four stretch limousines include a wet bar with bottled water, ice, and glassware. We do not stock alcohol in the vehicle but we do not restrict you from bringing your own. Open container is legal for passengers in California limousines provided the driver compartment is partitioned, which ours are.

No. You book the tasting reservations directly with the wineries; we drive. Most Napa wineries require reservations now. If you want help choosing wineries, we suggest a routing based on what you like.
